Social Media Community Guidelines

Thanks for joining Bank of Clarke on our official social media pages.

We’re excited that you want to be part of our online community and we are here to share information about us, how we can help you, and some fun things about our community. We want you to be part of the conversation!

Since we’re all in this together, there are a few things we all need to do to keep this a safe, welcoming community for everyone – and that means following and being aware of some simple guidelines:

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn are public places, so never provide any of your account details or other confidential or personal information such as your Social Security number or email address on our social media sites. We will never ask you to share that information publicly so don’t be tricked by any posts asking you for personal details.

For private, secure customer service you can call us at 800-650-8723 or contact us online.

For Customer Service. While we want to help whenever possible, this is not our Customer Service site. To protect your privacy and confidentiality, and to best deal with issues regarding your account, you need to contact our Customer Support Center.

You can contact Customer Support by telephone at 800-650-8723 or on the web.

Don’t be a hater. We want you to know up front that we have the right, at our discretion, to edit or remove abusive, offensive, profane, discriminatory, derogatory, inflammatory or pornographic posts – and that includes text, photos or videos. Extreme or repeated cases could result in a user being banned from the page. Doing the right thing is simple: Be respectful, stay on topic, and keep it clean. You know, Golden Rule stuff.

Can the spam. We have the right to remove posts promoting services, products, or other unwanted messages. The same goes for posts suspected of having links to viruses, malware or spyware that could affect users’ computers.

Do you have permission to use that? You are solely responsible for the content you post, so unless you have explicit permission don’t use any material that has been copyrighted, patented, trademarked or that violates regulations against privacy, intellectual property rights or trade secrets.

Thanks for sharing. We need to let you know that by posting text, photos or video on our site you are giving us non-exclusive rights to use that content in any formats or media we choose – such as marketing or advertising materials.

Those are our guidelines, but you also need to see the terms of service and privacy policy for all the listed social media channels. You can read the bank’s privacy policy.

Did we tell you we’re glad to have you here? Come on in and join the conversation!
