Important Update Message:
July 6, 2020
Dear Bank of Clarke Community,
On June 23rd, Governor Northam stated that Virginia will be moving to phase 3 of re-opening on July 1st. Assuming that date does not change, the Bank of Clarke County will be reopening our branch lobbies today July 6th with some additional precautions.
As the safety of our customers and employees is of paramount importance, we will seek to maintain social distancing guidelines within our branches. When you come back to the branch, you will see floor stickers that provide guidance to ensure a minimum of 6’ between our patrons, we will have free standing hand sanitizer stations to use as needed, and we have placed plexiglass barriers between our associates and our customers. Furthermore, as executive order 63 is still in place, we will continue to require masks within our branches. In some cases, to verify identity, you may be asked to quickly remove your mask (with the protection of the plexiglass) for certain transactions.
As we move into this next phase, I would encourage you to continue to leverage our online suite of products, our customer call center, and our drive-thru whenever possible; especially if you are feeling unwell. We have also introduced a new way to bank with us through Video Chat. Simply click on the Video Chat button on our website home screen and speak directly (and see) an associate that can help you with all of your banking needs, from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere in between.
Whether you would like to take advantage of our low mortgage rates, great commercial products, wide-reaching cash management tools, or investment and trust services, we are here to help.
Most importantly, if you are experiencing financial difficulties as a result of COVID-19, we are here for you. Please do not hesitate to call our customer service center at 1-800-650-8723, reach out to your commercial banker or branch manager, or send us an email through our secure online banking.
As your community bank, we are here for you now and always. Please remember that we offer multiple ways to remotely access your accounts and manage your finances, including:
Taking care of our customers, our employees, and our community is the Bank of Clarke County’s primary concern. We very much appreciate your continued trust during this difficult period.
